Basketball Recap: Cedar Hill Takes a Loss

Cedar Hill saw some tournament action on Friday. They took a 54-46 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Heritage Coyotes. The Longhorns have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Heritage's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Jadyn Middleton, who shot 80% from the field on her way to 21 points along with seven boards and five assists. Those 80% field goal percentage gave Middleton a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Danielle Henry, who almost dropped a double-double with ten points and nine rebounds.

Cedar Hill's loss dropped their record down to 5-3. As for Heritage, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-5 record this season.

Cedar Hill has already played their next game, a 52-41 victory against San Marcos on the 22nd. As for Heritage, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 41-40 win against South Grand Prairie on the 22nd.
