Volleyball Recap: Antelope Valley Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Antelope Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They fell 3-1 to the Palmdale Falcons. If the Antelopes were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Falcons when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

While Antelope Valley ultimately came up short, they really made Palmdale work, particularly in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 26-24, 25-15, 19-25, 25-16.

Leading Palmdale to victory were Destiny Mejia and Elise Alvarado. Mejia had 16 digs and two aces, while Alvarado had four assists and three aces. That's the most aces Alvarado has posted over her last six matchups.

Antelope Valley's loss dropped their record down to 3-13. As for Palmdale, they moved to 4-9 with that victory, which also ended their four-game losing streak.

Antelope Valley wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 3-0 defeat against Knight on the 18th. As for Palmdale, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Lancaster on the 18th.
