Volleyball Recap: Brainerd Takes Loss Despite Strong Efforts from Bella Goggleye and Preslee Glynn

Brainerd lost against Pequot Lakes back in October of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Warriors took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Patriots.

The final score came out to 25-21, 25-15.

Preslee Glynn and Bella Goggleye certainly did their best on Saturday to avoid the loss. Glynn had 13 digs, while Goggleye had three digs and one block.

Brainerd's loss dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Pequot Lakes, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Brainerd will head out to challenge Detroit Lakes at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Warriors are facing the Lakers at the right time seeing as the Lakers are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Pequot Lakes, they are headed away from home for the first time to face off against St. Cloud Cathedral at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
