Basketball Recap: Central Academy Takes a Loss

Central Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 17th straight defeat. They took a 68-53 bruising from the Parkwood Wolf Pack. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wolf Pack this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 73-46 back in January.

Nehemiah Davis continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Parkwood, putting up 26 points in addition to seven boards and seven steals. Another player making a difference was Jay Christensen, who posted nine points and three steals.

Central Academy's loss dropped their record down to 1-23. As for Parkwood, their win bumped their record up to 8-16.

Central Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 90-24 defeat against Forest Hills on the 17th. As for Parkwood, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 59-48 victory against Anson on the 17th.
