Baseball Recap: Parma Comes Up Short

Parma had lost three straight on the road, but on Monday they dropped their record down to 6-10 to make it four. They lost 14-2 to the Marsing Huskies. Having soared to a lofty 11 runs in the game before, the Panthers couldn't push the score so high this time.

Samuel Hultman was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, one triple, and one run. He has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times he's played.

As for Marsing, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record this season. The team dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 8.7 runs.

On Marsing's side, they got a massive performance out of Dresden Wood, who went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Niko Godina, who got on base in all three of his plate appearances with two runs and two RBI.

Parma wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 4-2 defeat against Nampa Christian on the 16th. As for Marsing, they have also already played their next game, a 24-7 win against Vision on the 16th.
