Volleyball Game Preview: Energy Tech vs. Maspeth Argos

Energy Tech will head out to challenge the Maspeth Argos at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Energy Tech will be strutting in after a victory while Maspeth will be coming in after a defeat.

Having struggled with three losses in a row, Energy Tech turned things around against Middle College on Thursday. They won by a set and slipped past the Panthers 2-1.

Meanwhile, Maspeth was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to Academy of American Studies.

The win got Energy Tech back to even at 3-3. As for Maspeth, their loss dropped their record down to 0-6.

Energy Tech was able to grind out a solid victory over Maspeth when the teams last played back in March, winning 2-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for Energy Tech since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
