Baseball Recap: Liberty Comes Up Short

Liberty was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They fell 6-3 to the Frisco Raccoons. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Raccoons this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 12-1 last Tuesday.

Liberty's defeat dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Frisco, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-5 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Liberty will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Centennial at 7:30 p.m. on March 25th. As for Frisco, they will square off against Emerson at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams are coming into the game red-hot, with Emerson sitting on five straight victories and Frisco on four.
