Basketball Recap: Wings Academy Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Wings Academy can now relate to. They were outmatched by the Canarsie Wolfpack and fell 105-60. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Wings have suffered since January 13th.

Despite the loss, Wings Academy still got an impressive performance from Rushawn Greene, who went 10-for-22 on his way to 30 points in addition to seven assists and six rebounds. The match was Greene's sixth in a row with at least 15 points. Fabian Jimbo was another key player, putting up eight points and six boards.

Wings Academy dropped their record down to 13-13 with the loss, which was their fifth straight on the road. As for Canarsie, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-10 record this season.

As of now, neither Wings Academy nor Canarsie have any future games scheduled.
