Soccer Game Preview: Lakeside vs. Riverside

The Lakeside Eagles will face off against the Riverside Rams at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Riverside took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Lakeside, who comes in off a win.

On Thursday, Lakeside got the win against Newport by a conclusive 8-1. The result was nothing new for Lakeside, who have now won four matchups by five goals or more so far this season.

The home team had come away the winner the last four times Riverside and Colville had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Rams came up short against the Indians on Thursday, falling 7-1. Riverside have struggled against Colville recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Lakeside is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-2-2 record this season. As for Riverside, their loss dropped their record down to 0-7.

Everything went Lakeside's way against Riverside when the teams last played back in March, as Lakeside made off with a 9-0 win. Will the Eagles repeat their success, or do the Rams have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
