Volleyball Recap: Addison Trail Comes Up Short

Addison Trail lost against Downers Grove North back in September of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Blazers fell 2-0 to the Trojans.

The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-19.

Downers Grove North's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Ellery Cabaj, who had nine assists and six digs.

Addison Trail's defeat was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 6-13. As for Downers Grove North, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-4 record this season.

Addison Trail will challenge Proviso East at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Downers Grove North, they will venture away from home to challenge Oak Park-River Forest at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
