While Dexter's win against Bernie wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Bearcats skirted past the Mules 4-2. That's two games straight that the Bearcats have won by exactly two runs.

The victory was the third in a row for Dexter, bringing their record up to 8-5. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.7 runs on average over those games. As for Bernie, their loss dropped their record down to 9-8-1.

Dexter has already played their next game, a 14-7 defeat against Central on the 17th. As for Bernie, they will welcome South Pemiscot at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
