Softball Game Preview: West Point Pointers vs. King William Cavaliers

West Point is 0-10 against King William since May of 2019 but things could change on Thursday. The Pointers will host the Cavaliers at 6:00 p.m. West Point has given up an average of 11.5 runs per game this season, but Thursday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

West Point came up short against Mathews on Tuesday, falling 17-4.

Meanwhile, King William had already won six in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 9.5 runs) and they went ahead and made it seven on Tuesday. They never let the Panthers get on the board and left with an 11-0 win. Considering the Cavaliers have won six games by more than nine runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

West Point's defeat dropped their record down to 5-5. As for King William, their victory bumped their record up to 9-1.
