The Indian Lake Lakers will head out on the road to square off against the Bath Wildcats at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Indian Lake is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.3 runs per game this season.

Indian Lake's pitching crew heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Wednesday. They blew past Graham Local 17-0. The win continues a trend for the Lakers in their matchups with the Falcons: they've now won nine in a row.

Bre Wisener made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only one hit while striking out ten over four innings pitched. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in three consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 3-for-4 with two runs, two RBI, and one double.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Addison Stinemetz, who went 2-for-4 with two triples, four RBI, and two runs. Those two triples gave her a new career-high. Abigail Elliott was another key player, going 3-for-4 with two runs, two RBI, and one double.

Indian Lake was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .606. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .333 or higher in five consecutive matchups.

Meanwhile, Bath was able to grind out a solid victory over Crestview on Wednesday, taking the game 9-4. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Wildcats.

Indian Lake pushed their record up to 11-7 with the win, which was their third straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.0 runs over those games. As for Bath, their record now sits at 6-8.

Indian Lake beat Bath 4-1 in their previous meeting back in May of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Lakers since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
