Iowa City came tearing into Friday's matchup with six straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 4.3 goals), and they left with even more momentum. They never let the Ottumwa Bulldogs get on the board and left with a 3-0 win. The result was nothing new for Iowa City, who have now won 16 contests by three goals or more so far this season.

Iowa City's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 22-7-3. Those road wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those three games. As for Ottumwa, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last nine matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-12-4 record this season.

Iowa City will head out to take on Davenport North on Wednesday. Ottumwa does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
