Softball Recap: Frontier Takes a Loss

Frontier and Clinton Prairie squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Frontier had to settle for second. They lost 14-0 to the Gophers. The loss continues a trend for the Falcons in their meetings with the Gophers: they've now lost four in a row.

Frontier's defeat dropped their record down to 3-15. As for Clinton Prairie, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 16-9.

Frontier does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Clinton Prairie, they will face off against Carroll at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Gophers' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Cougars have averaged an impressive 8.3 runs per game this season.
