Softball Preview: Tri-County Penguins vs. Pittsville Panthers
The Tri-County Penguins will be playing at home against the Pittsville Panthers at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
Having struggled with ten defeats in a row dating back to last season, Tri-County finally turned things around against Pittsville on Friday. Everything went Tri-County's way against Pittsville as Tri-County made off with a 12-6 win. Tri-County's hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.
Tri-County got a massive performance out of Morgan Anderson, who scored two runs while going 2-for-4. Skye Hopkins was another key contributor, scoring three runs while going 3-for-4.
Tri-County made their fans wait, but they earned their first win of the season to make their record 1-7. As for Pittsville, their loss dropped their record down to 4-4.
