After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Woodsville, Lin-Wood was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They blew past the Moultonborough Academy Panthers 8-2. Considering the Lumberjacks have won ten contests by more than five runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Lin-Wood is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-6 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.8 runs over those games. As for Moultonborough Academy, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-11.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Lin-Wood is set to take on their familiar foe Colebrook Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Moultonborough Academy will challenge rival Lisbon at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
