Volleyball Recap: Rim of the World Comes Up Short

Rim of the World came into their game on Friday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 3-0 to the San Gorgonio Spartans. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Fighting Scots of the 3-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

The final score came out to 25-23, 25-22, 25-16.

Rim of the World now has a losing record of 1-2. As for San Gorgonio, their victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 2-12.

Coming up, Rim of the World will square off against Fontana at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for San Gorgonio, they will take on Aquinas in a tournament on Saturday.
