Volleyball Recap: Hockaday's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

Hockaday can bid farewell to their five-game losing streak thanks to their game on Saturday. They won by a set and slipped past the Martin Warriors 3-2.

Hockaday was led to victory by Siena Ebert and Lily Haffar. Ebert had 32 digs and 16 assists, while Haffar had 15 digs and three aces. Those 16 assists gave Ebert a new career-high.

Hockaday's win bumped their record up to 2-5. As for Martin, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Hockaday has already played their next game, a 3-0 defeat against Rockwall on the 16th. As for Martin, they will face off against Birdville at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
