For the second straight game, Homer-Center will face off against West Shamokin. The Wildcats are taking a road trip to challenge the Wolves at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Homer-Center is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.4 runs per game this season.

Homer-Center had been on a five-game streak of scoring at least ten runs, but West Shamokin put an end to it on Tuesday. The Wildcats fell just short of the Wolves by a score of 2-0. The contest marked the first time this year in which the Wildcats were not able to get on the board.

Brayden Rado was cooking despite his team's loss, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two stolen bases. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games he's played.

West Shamokin is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.9 runs on average over those games. As for Homer-Center, their defeat ended a six-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 12-4.
