Softball Recap: Northridge Vikings vs. Lakewood Lancers
After flying high against Zanesville last Wednesday, Northridge came back down to earth. The Northridge Vikings lost 16-1 to the Lakewood Lancers on Thursday. Northridge has not had much luck with Lakewood recently, as the team's come up short the last six times they've met.
Northridge's loss dropped their record down to 4-12. As for Lakewood, they now have a winning record of 6-5.
Northridge will head out on the road to take on Johnstown-Monroe at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Johnstown-Monroe is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7 runs per game this season. As for Lakewood, they will head out on the road to square off against Northridge at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
