West Central has gone 8-2 against Madison recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The West Central Trojans will be playing in front of their home fans against the Madison Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (West Central has three straight victories, Madison has seven straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

Last Tuesday, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, West Central beat Tri-Valley 41-36.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 56 points the game before, Madison was a bit more limited in their matchup on Tuesday. They were dealt a 52-16 loss at the hands of Deubrook. While losing is never fun, the Bulldogs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' South Dakota basketball rankings (they are ranked 129th, while the Dolphins are ranked 29th).

West Central has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 6-8 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.4 points per game. As for Madison, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-13.

Everything came up roses for West Central against Madison in their previous matchup back in February of 2024, as the team secured a 66-26 win. Will West Central repeat their success, or does Madison have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
