Baseball Game Preview: Livermore Cowboys vs. Amador Valley Dons

For the second straight game, Livermore will face off against Amador Valley. The Cowboys will challenge the Dons at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Livermore's pitching crew has only allowed 4.1 runs per game this season, so Amador Valley's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

Livermore's usually-dominant pitching crew will be looking to make up for Wednesday's struggle, when Amador Valley hitters got past them. The Cowboys had just enough and edged out the Dons 11-10. Livermore got a massive performance out of Griffin Lee, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, three runs, and two RBI. Those three runs gave Lee a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Hayden Maas, who went 3-for-5 with three RBI, two runs, and two doubles.
