Baseball Recap: Menlo-Atherton Sets Scoring Season-High Against Palo Alto

Menlo-Atherton made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Palo Alto, but they still couldn't quite topple them. Menlo-Atherton blew past Palo Alto 19-9 on Friday. The Bears' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Tyler Rosenthal looked comfortable as he pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Those zero hits allowed gave him a new career-low.

On the hitting side, Menlo-Atherton got a massive performance out of Jack Molise, who scored two runs while going 4-for-5. Those four hits gave Molise a new career-high. Jack Wilbanks also deserves some recognition as he scored his first runs of the season.
