Baseball Recap: Dibble Wins Going Away Against Comanche

Dibble won the last time they faced Comanche and things went their way on Thursday too. The Demons put the hurt on the Indians with a sharp 17-7 win. Considering the Demons have won 13 games by more than six runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Trey Ott was incredible, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with three RBI, two runs, and one triple. That's the most runs he has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was Austin Maddox, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.

Dibble kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 14 hits. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their hit total in three consecutive matchups.

Dibble's victory bumped their record up to 19-4. As for Comanche, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last seven contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-13 record this season.

Dibble will have a chance to go back-to-back against Comanche: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
