Volleyball Recap: Appleton City Takes a Loss

Appleton City was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the Butler Bears, falling 3-0. If the Bulldogs were looking for revenge after losing 3-2 to the Bears when the teams met back in September of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-20, 25-11.

Appleton City now has a losing record of 6-7. As for Butler, their victory bumped their record up to 12-1-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Appleton City will face off against Drexel at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Butler, they will challenge Liberal at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
