Volleyball Recap: Sacred Heart Academy Falls Short Against Ranked Amity Regional

Sacred Heart Academy faced Amity Regional in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Wednesday. The Sharks fell 3-1 to the Spartans. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Spartans this season, with their most recent loss being a 3-1 defeat on October 6th.

Maddy Burke paced Sacred Heart Academy's offense, picking up 15 kills. Burke got some help from Bella Spinato and her 36 assists.

With the defeat, Sacred Heart Academy broke their six-match winning streak and moved their record to 18-2. As for Amity Regional, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 18-4.
