Volleyball Recap: Keller Takes Loss Despite Strong Efforts from Carley Ward and Lauren Scheiden

Keller was the 3-0 winner over Northwest when they last played one another back in October of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Indians took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Texans on Tuesday. The Indians have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The final score came out to 25-21, 21-25, 25-15, 25-19.

Lauren Scheiden and Carley Ward certainly did their best on Tuesday to avoid the loss. Scheiden had 26 digs and four assists, while Ward had 12 digs and three assists. Scheiden is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 11 or more in each of the last five games she's played.

Keller's defeat dropped their record down to 15-3. As for Northwest, with the victory, they broke their five-game losing streak and moved their record to 12-7.

Keller has already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Coppell on the 29th. As for Northwest, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Birdville on the 29th.
