Soccer Recap: Dorman Snaps Five-Game Streak of Wins at Home

Dorman fought the good fight in their overtime match against Wade Hampton on Thursday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Generals by a score of 4-3. Dorman were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced Wade Hampton earlier this season, when they won 0-0.

Katie Hennessy and Natalie Schulz scored all three of Dorman's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 16 goals.

Dorman's loss ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 10-5-1. As for Wade Hampton, their record now sits at 10-7.

Looking ahead, Dorman will head out to take on Eastside at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Eastside will roll in looking for their eighth straight win, something Dorman surely won't give up without a fight. As for Wade Hampton, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Gaffney at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Wade Hampton will be up against Gaffney's rather soft defense (which has allowed 5.56 goals per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
