Football Game Recap: Newburyport vs. Pentucket Regional

It was a close one, but on Saturday Newburyport sidestepped Pentucket Regional for a 17-14 victory. Having pegged this as anyone's game, the MaxPreps state rankings were right on the nose.

The win was the 3rd in a row for Newburyport, as they raised their record to 4-2. The loss dropped Pentucket Regional back to even at 3-3.

Newburyport will be staying on the road next week, facing off against North Reading. Newburyport have kept their last 3 contests to within three points or fewer, so North Reading should be prepared for a fight. Pentucket Regional will stay at home against Rockland at 12:00 PM.
