While Jefferson County North's victory against Sunrise Christian Academy wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Chargers had just enough and edged out the Buffaloes 10-9. With that win, the Chargers brought their scoring average up to 6.5 runs per game.

The team relied heavily on Kennadi Hernandez, who scored three runs and stole two bases while going 3-for-4. That's the most stolen bases she has posted since back in April of 2024. Bre Erpelding was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-2.
