Baseball Recap: Santa Rosa's Losing Streak Snapped at Four Games

Santa Rosa lost to Piner last Monday, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Wednesday. The Panthers narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Prospectors 10-8. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Panthers have posted since February 27th.

The team relied heavily on Mateo Fitzgerald, who scored three runs while getting on base in all five of his plate appearances. Those three runs gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Mason Rizo, who went 1-for-4 with two RBI.
