Volleyball Recap: Analy Wins Going Away Against Rancho Cotate

It was a proper cat-fight when Analy duked it out with Rancho Cotate on Tuesday. Analy blew past Rancho Cotate 3-0. The Tigers haven't had any issues with the Cougars recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Analy walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the third set). The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-17, 25-11.

Magnus Niedermair paced Analy's offense, picking up 12 kills. Niedermair got some help from Alakai Cole and his 21 assists. Cole and Niedermair didn't slow down when it came to serving: they led the team with three apiece.

Analy's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 11-3. As for Rancho Cotate, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-6 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Analy will challenge rival Sonoma Valley at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Rancho Cotate is set to square off against their familiar foe American Canyon at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
