Volleyball Recap: Decatur Central Hawks vs. Plainfield Quakers

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Franklin Central, Decatur Central was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They blew past the Plainfield Quakers 3-0. That three set margin sets a new team best for the Hawks this season.

While Decatur Central won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the first set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 27-25, 25-19, 25-21.

Mike Norton paced Decatur Central's offense, picking up 12 kills. Norton got some help from Kenyo Rivera and his 13 assists. Rivera was also solid from the service line: he led the team with four aces.
