Gus Nelson Game Report: vs North Eugene

Passers beware: Gus Nelson came down with his first-ever interception on Friday and he's no doubt on the hunt for more. He also made three total tackles as South Eugene fell to North Eugene 58-18. We hope Nelson's good effort is the first of many we'll see posted here on MaxPreps.com.

Coming up, Nelson and South Eugene will square off against Thurston at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Nelson had to take a defeat the last time the two teams duked it out, losing their contest back in September of 2024 53-0.
