Softball Recap: St. Joseph Comes Up Short

St. Joseph came into this matchup off a tough nine-run loss last Friday. This time they kept things ultra-competitive, but unfortunately the final result was the same. They fell just short of the Bigelow Panthers by a score of 8-6 on Monday. The Bulldogs haven't had much luck with the Panthers recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

St. Joseph's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Bigelow, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 7-6.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. St. Joseph will head out to take on Robinson at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Bigelow, they will head out on the road to challenge White County Central at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
