Volleyball Recap: Pearl Comes Up Short

Pearl had to start their season on the road on Friday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They fell 2-0 to the Tupelo Golden Wave. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it six in a row.

Gabby Coleman paced Pearl's offense, picking up three kills. Coleman got some help from Izzy Watts and her six assists.

Pearl didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against Madison Central on the 1st. As for Tupelo, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Hancock on the 1st.
