Baseball Recap: Parkway Takes a Loss

If Parkway was riding high fresh off their 12-1 takedown of South Adams on Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Panthers came up short against the Minster Wildcats on Thursday, falling 20-6. The loss continues a trend for the Panthers in their meetings with the Wildcats: they've now lost five in a row.

Parkway saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jacoby Triplett, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. That home run marked the first that Triplett has launched this season. Another was Kolt Harner, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one run and one RBI.

Parkway's defeat dropped their record down to 5-7. As for Minster, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Parkway will welcome Ansonia at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Minster, they will be taking part in a tournament against Indian Lake at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
