Soccer Recap: Woods Cross Comes Up Short

Woods Cross was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 4-2 to the Skyridge Falcons. That's two games in a row now that Woods Cross have lost by exactly two goals.

Lily Grace Garff and Sydney Oakes scored both of Woods Cross' goals, which were season-firsts for both players.

Woods Cross' defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Skyridge, they moved to 2-3 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Woods Cross will venture away from home to square off against Alta at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Skyridge, they will take on Weber at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
