Volleyball Recap: Horizon Christian Academy Takes a Loss

Horizon Christian Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lanier Christian Academy Lightning.

Horizon Christian Academy started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The final score came out to 25-27, 25-11, 25-18, 25-15.

Horizon Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Lanier Christian Academy, their win bumped their record up to 2-7.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Horizon Christian Academy will take on rival St. John Bosco Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Lanier Christian Academy is set to face off against their familiar foe Pinecrest Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
