Baseball Recap: Northshore Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Northshore can now relate to. They lost 8-0 to the Live Oak Eagles on Tuesday. The Panthers were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Eagles earlier this season, when they won 5-0.

This is the second loss in a row for Northshore and nudges their season record down to 34-7-1. As for Live Oak, they are on a roll lately: they've won 15 of their last 16 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 28-5 record this season.

While Northshore had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
