Football Game Preview: Danvers Falcons vs. Beverly Panthers

Danvers is preparing for their first league matchup of the season on Friday. They will challenge the Beverly Panthers at 6:00 p.m. Danvers will come into the contest with an undefeated record on the line.

The home team had won the previous four meetings between Danvers and Winthrop, and Danvers kept the tradition alive. The Falcons strolled past the Vikings with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 27-13. The matchup marked the Falcons' most dominant victory of the season so far.

Meanwhile, Beverly slipped by Wakefield Memorial 41-40 on Friday.

Danvers' win bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Beverly, their victory bumped their record up to 3-1.

Danvers barely slipped by Beverly when the teams last played back in October of 2024, winning 14-13. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Falcons since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
