Softball Recap: West Lowndes Takes a Loss

Friday just wasn't the day for West Lowndes's offense. They lost 13-0 to the West Union Eagles on Friday. The loss continues a trend for the Panthers in their meetings with the Eagles: they've now lost four in a row.

West Lowndes saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ahjala Givens, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base. That hit marked the first that Givens got this season.

West Lowndes' defeat dropped their record down to 2-9. As for West Union, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-8 record this season.

West Lowndes will take on Aberdeen at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for West Union, they will face off against Houlka at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
