Volleyball Game Preview: Archie Whirlwinds vs. Leeton Bulldogs

Archie has gone a perfect 3-0 against Leeton recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Whirlwinds will square off against the Bulldogs at 5:30 p.m. Archie is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last four games.

Archie had to skate by with only a one-set margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the three-set drubbing they dealt Lakeland on Tuesday. The Whirlwinds blew past the Vikings 3-0.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Archie was: they took every set by at least 14 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-9, 25-5, 25-11.

Meanwhile, Leeton came up short against Northland Christian on Saturday and fell 2-0.

Leeton's loss dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Archie, their win bumped their record up to 22-4-1.

Archie was able to grind out a solid victory over Leeton in their previous matchup on Saturday, winning 2-0. Will the Whirlwinds repeat their success, or do the Bulldogs have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
