After losing to Bishop Gorman the last time they met, Christian Heritage decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Christian Heritage Sentinels secured a 41-37 W over the Bishop Gorman Crusaders on Saturday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Sentinels.

Despite the loss, Bishop Gorman saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Gianna Mahfood posted ten points along with six steals and five assists. Mahfood has been hot, having posted two or more steals the last seven times she's played. Amelia Meads was another key player, putting up three points along with seven boards and five steals.

Christian Heritage has been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 12 contests, which provided a massive bump to their 13-8 record this season. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 29.5 points per game. As for Bishop Gorman, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-9 record this season.
