On Thursday, Capistrano Valley take on La Mirada at 3:15 PM. La Mirada will be strutting in after a win while Capistrano Valley will be stumbling in from a loss.
Capistrano Valley came within a touchdown against Tustin last Thursday, but wound up with a 14-27 loss.
Meanwhile,, La Mirada had a bit more than a touchdown to spare in a 28-21 victory over El Toro.
Capistrano Valley's defeat took them down to 1-1 while La Mirada's triumph pulled them up to write [team] current record. A win for Capistrano Valley would reverse both their bad luck and La Mirada's good luck. We'll see if Capistrano Valley manages to pull off that tough task or if La Mirada keeps their momentum going instead.
