Liberty Center's game last Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Hicksville Aces with a sharp 3-0 win. The Tigers haven't had any issues with the Aces recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Liberty Center never let Hicksville on the board, but things got pretty close in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-14, 25-15.

Aletha Fausnight paced Liberty Center's offense, picking up 20 kills. Fausnight got some help from Aubree Zeiter and her 27 assists. Zeiter was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Liberty Center's win bumped their record up to 14-9. As for Hicksville, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost nine of their last ten contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-19 record this season.

Liberty Center didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-1 defeat against Tinora on the 21st. Hicksville does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
