After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Rocky Grove, West Middlesex was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They came out on top against the Mercyhurst Prep Lakers by a score of 3-1. For the Big Reds, this counts as revenge for the 3-0 victory the Lakers walked away with the last time they faced one another back in October of 2024.

While West Middlesex might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Mercyhurst Prep scored at least 19 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 20-25, 25-19, 25-22.

West Middlesex's win bumped their record up to 6-14. As for Mercyhurst Prep, they are on an 11-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-13.

As of now, neither West Middlesex nor the Lakers have any future games scheduled.
