It was a good run, but Marist unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Saturday. They fell just short of the Auburn Tigers by a score of 2-1.

Marist's defeat dropped their record down to 6-3. As for Auburn, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 4-2.

Coming up, Marist will face off against Pope at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Auburn, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-1 victory against Hewitt-Trussville on the 23rd.
