Baseball Recap: Middlesex Takes a Loss

Middlesex fell victim to St. Mark and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They took a 4-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lions. Middlesex was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as St. Mark's apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Middlesex has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last seven contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-7 record this season. As for St. Mark's, they now have a winning record of 5-4-1.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Middlesex is set to challenge their familiar foe St. Sebastian's School at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, St. Mark's will square off against rival Lawrence Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
